Mercyhurst University Athletics

Tim Latimer was a member of Mercyhurst's inaugural football team in 1981 and put together one of the best defensive careers in Lakers history. Latimer ranks seventh all-time with 313 career tackles and second all-time with 260 assisted tackles. 

During his four seasons at Mercyhurst, the Lakers went 21-11-2. Latimer is also tied for 19th in career interceptions with seven and he also led the Lakers in tackles in 1982 with the eighth-highest total in program history (111).
