2023-24 Hit-A-Thon
The Mercyhurst Softball Team is excited to launch their first annual Hit-A-Thon. Alumni, family, friends, and students will have the opportunity to pledge a donation, which will help support the Lakers program in the coming year. Participants have the option to donate a flat amount, or donate an amount per line drive. Players on the current roster will be participating, along with guests of the program.
The event is scheduled to take place on November 8th , 2023 in the Mercyhurst Recreation Center. The details of the event are as follows.
Hit-A-Thon Details

Each player will get 150 swings off of front toss
- The goal is to hit as many line drives as possible
- 2-3 Lakers will be going at an allotted time in order to break up swings.
- We will be inviting "Guest" hitters to join in on some groups as well!
- Guest hitters will be identified over social media outlets as we get closer to the event
There will be a live stream link posted to the Mercyurst Softball social media accounts for all fans to follow along!
