Hall of Fame
Christie Foster was a member of the Mercyhurst Women's Cross Country team from 2007-2009 and put together an All-American career with the Lakers. In 2009, she was named a USTFCCCA All-American. She was a 2009 All-Atlantic Region recipient and a 2008 All-East Region selection.
Foster was an NCAA Scholar-Athlete in 2009 and Academic All-Region in 2008 (East) and 2009 (Atlantic). She is the school record-holder in the 5K with a course-best 17:32 at Carnegie Mellon on Oct. 10, 2009. In addition, she is the school record-holder in the 6K at 20:58 during the NCAA Atlantic Regional at Mansfield on Nov. 7, 2009. She won eight races as an individual during her collegiate career (three in 2008, five in 2009). She also placed second at the prestigious National Catholic Invitational at Notre Dame in 2009.
