Millersville, Pa.—The Division II Conference Commissioners Association announced the First and Second Teams for the Atlantic Region.

Josh Surowiec was named the First Team first baseman following his historic season for the Lakers. He won the PSAC batting title as he had a .443 batting average in the regular season while blasting 17 homers which is a new Mercyhurst record. He had a .829 slugging percentage while also having a .556 on base percentage which both led the PSAC. The Williamsville, N.Y. native drew 39 walks this season which was second in the PSAC.

The CoSIDA Academic All-District Honoree closes his Mercyhurst career with a .347 batting average in 163 games, 24 home runs, 130 RBI, and a on base percentage of .458. With being named first team, Surowiec is nominated to be an All-American.
