2022:
Appeared and started in all 49 games, was the PSAC West Athlete of the Year while being named first team All-Conference. Was also named D2CCA All-Region 1st Team, NCBWA All-Region 1st Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, ABCA Atlantic Region First Team and Player of the Year. NCBWA and ABCA Second Team All-American, D2CCA Third Team All-American, a CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American, and a PSAC Spring Top Ten Honoree. He led the Lakers with a .430 batting average and set the Mercyhurst single season ome run record with 17. H ealso drove in a team high 56 RBI. He ended the year with a .556 on base percentage and eight total stolen bases. 

2021 Season:
Started in a 42 games for the Lakers...hit .280 while having a .386 on base percentage and a .439 slugging percentage...homered four times while driving in 31 run which was second on the team...drew 19 walks while being hit five times...had a .993 field percentage with 263 putouts and 16 assists at first base...hit a walkoff grand slam against Salem on 3/20

2020 Season:
Appeared and started in all eight games.  At the plate he went 14-31 with nine walks, three RBIs and a pair of doubles.  Against Wheeling (2/28) he had a stellar day swinging the bat going 5-6 with a double and run scored.  Surowiec was strong in the field as well posting a 1.000 fielding percentage thanks to 58 putouts and one assist.  

2019 Season:
Appeared in 50 games, making 47 starts. He posted a .297 batting average and a .448 slugging percentage with 34 driven in, 27 runs scored, 32 walks, and 12 doubles. Surowiec had nine multi-RBI games with two games of four against Slippery Rock (4/22) and Charleston (W.Va.) (5/25).

2018 Season:
Started in Three games and made 13 total appearances... Batting Average of .368 (7 of 19)... Recorded Five Runs Batted In... Had a .500 On Base Percentage and a .579 Slugging Percentage.

High School: Attended and played baseball and hockey at Williamsville North High in Buffalo, NY where he won Buffalo News WNY Co-Player of the Year and 1st Team All-WNY, Won State Championship as captain of the Varsity Hockey Team. 4 year Varsity Baseball Player, 3 year Varsity Hockey Player.

Personal: Was born May 4, 1999... is the son of Amy and Joe and has one brother; Zach... will major in intelligence studies... also played summer baseball for the Academy Stars.
