ERIE, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's golf team tied for first with California (Pa.) on Saturday in the Gannon Spring Invitational, both teams shot a 308 on the course. The Lakers played against seven other teams and 35 other players. 

Harison Laskey led the Lakers five-some scoring a 74 and coming in a three-way tie for third. Chris Kupniewski shot a 76 and came in a tie for seventh. Ryan Mehnert came in a tie for 12th place and shot a 77. Adrian Larsen scored an 81 and finished in in a tie for 26th place. Jacob Blondell wrapped up the squad with a 32nd place finish and a score of 84 strokes. 

Daegan Wall of Gannon won the individual title with a score of 72.

The Lakers will golf again Sunday in the Mercyhurst Invitational held at the Lake View Country Club in North East, Pa.
