WEST CHESTER, Pa. -- The Mercyhurst men's golf team took fifth in the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational on April 9th-10th, against 11 other teams.

The Lakers shot a  620 (322-298) as a team on the 6644 yard 71 par course.

Davis & Elkins was the winning team who shot a 605 (294-311).

Harison Laskey led the Lakers squad shooting a 151 (76-75) and finished in a tie for fifth. Chris Kupniewski finished in a tie for 11th and shot a 154 (80-74). Adrian Larsen finished with a 157 (82-75) stroke count, and came in a four-way tie for 22nd. Ryan Mehnert finished in a tie for 26th and shot a 158 (84-74). Les Lancaster wrapped up the five-some finishing in a tie for 39th place and had a stroke count of 163 (84-79). 

John Clare of Le Moyne won the individual title with a 147 (73-74). 

The Lakers will compete next April 22nd in the Gannon Invitational held at the Whispering Woods Golf Course.
