COMPLETE RESULTS

ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst men's golf team won the Mercyhurst Fall Invitational held on Lake View Country Club on September 25th- 26th. The team shot for a total of 599 (303-296) putting them six strokes ahead of second place Millersville.
 
Despite the poor weather on Monday, Harrison Lasky was able to help propel his team to a first place finish. By completing his second round with a tournament low score of 68 giving the Lakers the edge they needed to win. Lasky was the third top finisher for the Lakers posting a score of 152 (84-68) finishing in a tie for eleventh. The top golfer for Mercyhurst was Chris Kupniewski who finishing in a tie for fourth and had a score of 147 (71-76), Adrian Larsen finished second for the Lakers in a ties for sixth with a score of 148 (73-75). Ryan Mehert finished in a tie for thirty-first having a score of 158 (81-77). Zach Miller posted a score of 162 (78-84) and finished in a tie for forty-first.
 
The individual medalist for this event ended in a three way tie between Connor Sheeha of Millersville, Rodney Anders of Millersville, and Loran Dukate of Clarion who all scored a 146.
 
The Lakers men golf team will golf next at the Howard "Bud" Elwell Fall Classic at Whispering Woods golf course in Erie, Pa. October 2nd and 3rd.
