GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators (CSC) released their Academic All-District Team following the conclusion of the NCAA women's soccer regular season. The candidates must be at least a sophomore both academically and athletically, as well as maintaining at least a 3.5 GPA. These athletes are recognized for their accomplishments in the classroom and on the field. Three Lakers made the list from the Mercyhurst women's soccer team: Maddi Cowburn, Isabella Fiorillo, and Fiona Fraser.

Cowburn is a redshirt sophomore midfielder majoring in sports medicine with a GPA of 4.0. Cowburn played all 19 games this season, starting 18 of them, and totaling 1307 minutes played. Cowburn notched two goals, two assists, and six points this season. One of her goals being a game winning goal.

Fiorillo is a sophomore defender and nursing major with a 4.0 GPA. On the field she played all 19 games this season with 18 starts, playing 1633 minutes. She tallied two goals this season and was a key player on the back-line. 

Fraser is a sophomore midfielder who majors in sports medicine. Fraser holds a GPA of 3.517 and was a key player on the field this season playing and starting in all 19 games this season. She is second-most in minutes with 1661 minutes played this season. Fraser also tallied one goal, three assists, and five points this season. Fraser was 10th in assists overall in the NEC and seventh in assists in NEC play.
