Erie, PA – Rich Wall, Head Coach of the Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team, has accepted the head coaching position at Youngstown State University. During his two-year tenure with the Lakers, Wall posted a 20-15-5 overall record, including an impressive 16-4-1 mark in his first season—Mercyhurst's most wins in a season since 2006. The program has made significant strides under Coach Wall's leadership, and we are grateful for his commitment and contributions. We wish him continued success in his new role at Youngstown State.

With Coach Wall's departure, the Mercyhurst Women's Soccer team is now in search of a new Head Coach. The program is coming off a solid season, having just completed their first year at the Division I level, highlighted by their largest margin of victory in five years. Additionally, the team earned an NCAA Tournament berth in 2023.
