Women's Water Polo Falls to Saint Francis

Loretto, Pa. – After going 2-1 in the WWPA Conference Weekend, Mercyhurst Water Polo falls to Saint Francis on the road by a score of 15-7. The Lakers are currently 6-10 on the season and boast 2-1 conference record.
 
How It Happened
The Lakers traveled to Loretto, Pa. to take on Saint Francis in the Stokes Natatorium and continue their season. The squad started the game slow, with the Red Flash taking an early lead in the first quarter, as they managed to score four times, 4-0.
 
Mercyhurst managed to answer back in the second, as Hanna Good and Allie Dombkowski netted one goal each, but Saint Francis also scored twice, 6-2.
 
The Lakers did their best to come back into the game, with Alexa Corrao scoring two goals in the second half, but it wasn't enough as the Red Flash eventually won the game by a score of 15-7.
 
What's Next
Mercyhurst hits the road on Friday, April 14th as they take on Grove City College at 5:00 p.m.
