Providence, RI—The Mercyhurst Men's Water Polo team fell to No. 18 Brown in their first game of the day. In the second game the Lakers fell to No. 20 Fordham 25-5
Game One vs Brown (L, 16-8)
For the second day in a row the Lakers started their day with a nationally ranked opponent. Just like yesterday against No. 11 Harvard, the Lakers held their own and outscored the Bears in the final quarter.
Joel Parnell scored the first goal of the game for the Lakers, Derek Kagen followed up with a goal of his own less than a minute later. Michael Gutman scored in the second quarter; Brannan Cumby also got on the scoreboard for the Lakers. Gutman netted his second in the third quarter for the only Laker goal of the quarter. Kagen scored three goals in the fourth and final quarter, Brown scored just two goals in the final quarter.
Nash Greeven got the start in goal and made a couple great saves. Tony Golin replaced Greeven in the second half.
Game Two vs Fordham (L, 25-5)
Playing their fourth game is just over 24 hours the Lakers put up five goals against the 20th ranked team in the nation. Aleska Vucurovic scored twice while Reed Bearden, Gutman, and Luke Tanner also scored for the Lakers.
Like each game this weekend Greeven started in next, and Golin replaced him in the second half.

The Lakers come home to face Mount Saint Mary's (MD.) for two games on Saturday. One will count as a regular season game while the other will be an exhibition.
