Pembroke, NC—The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has announced their 2021 All-American selections. To be eligible for the honor the player needed to be selected to an All-Region Team. Michael Krauza was named to the All-Region First Team last week, this week he was an honorable mention for the All-American Team.
Krauza came to Mercyhurst from St. Bonaventure and was nothing short of incredible with the Lakers. He pitched 54 innings while he also struck out 71 batters this season. On top of that he held batters to a .202 batting average while having an ERA of 2.67 while only walking four batters. He also had a 10-2 record, his ten wins was the most in the PSAC. He also had the most innings pitched of any relief pitcher in the PSAC.
Krauza has now been named a NCBWA Honorable Mention, NCWBA All-Region First Team, All PSAC West First Team, and the D2CCA All Region First Team.
