ERIE, PA – The Mercyhurst Wrestling team will be back on the road this weekend when they take the mats at the Jerome T. Osborne Family Athletic & Wellness Center in Painesville, Ohio for a dual meet against Lake Erie College.
Laker Overview
The Lakers will come into battle with the Storm a week out from finishing 1-1 in their two dual meets at Ashland last weekend. Mercyhurst picked up the win over Davenport in convincing fashion by a score of 47-4. The Lakers dropped their second match to host No. 8 Ashland by a 14-27 margin. Both

Scouting Lake Erie
Lake Erie comes into the dual meet with the Lakers holding an 0-1 season record. The Storm are led by nationally ranked James Penfold and Chris Droege, Penfold is currently the seventh ranked wrestler in Division II at 165 while Droege is sixth at 197.
