This weekend the Mercyhurst Men's Water Polo travels to Lebanon, Illinois for a series of matchups against MAWPC opponents. On Saturday, October 9th, the Men's Water Polo team will face Gannon University at 10:30 am, followed by a 1:30 pm game against Salem University for the second matchup of the season. On Sunday, the 10th, they will oppose McKendree University at 10:30 am for another chance this season to take the win. 
 
Last weekend the Men's Water Polo team dropped three matches against McKendree University, Salem University, and Washington and Jefferson College. 
 
The Lakers managed to secure 6 goals against McKendree University starting with goals from Derek Kagan racking up two points early. Teagan Thomas recorded a hat trick along with Michael Gutman scoring one to make the final score 6-14.
 
Derek Kagan led the Lakers in goals against Salem University in their game on Saturday. The result ended with Mercyhurst scoring 9 and Salem scoring 17. 
 
Mercyhurst managed to gain the lead early against Washington and Jefferson College with goals from Derek Kagan and Mathieu Davis at the beginning of match. They led the first quarter 3-1. Nicholas Miller earned his first goal of the season to end the game making the score 9-10 against W&J.
