Mercyhurst University mourns the loss of 2020 graduate and Laker baseball player
Kenny Robinson.
"Kenny will be remembered as one of Mercyhurst's great success stories. He began his education in 2015 at Mercyhurst North East," said President Michael Victor. "He transferred to Erie where he continued to excel, playing an important role in the Lakers back-to-back regional championships and World Series appearances. This spring, he graduated with a degree in sport business management. We will miss him."
Robinson was a key member of the Lakers back-to-back Regional Championship and World Series teams. Â
"There are no words to express the pain we have felt this week. We have prayed for a miracle, but our worst fears were realized," said head baseball coach
Joe Spano. "We love Kenny and will make sure that his memory lives on."
