LEBANON, Ill. – The Mercyhurst women's water polo team split its second day at the McKendree Invite with a 10-8 overtime loss to Salem and a 13-3 win over Monmouth on Sunday.

The Lakers are back in action when they host Gannon at the Cathedral Prep and Events Center on April. 13 at 12 p.m.

Salem 10, Mercyhurst 8
Rachel Byrnes recorded two goals and two assists while
Michaela Hershey also tallied two goals.
Mackenzie Ryburn had one goal and one assist while single goals were credited to
Sarah Hershey,
Maddie Nye and
Lindsey Mizrahi.
Jennifer Moshinsky had one assist.

Sarah Hershey, Nye and Mizrahi had one steal each for the Lakers.

Sarah O'Keefe made eight saves in net and added two steals.

For Salem (12-12), Margherita scored five goals, Maryanna Antoniou had two goals and Annefluer ten Bloemendal, Chloe Woodbine and Beatrice Popescu had one goal each.

In net, Philippa Piper made 13 saves and had one steal for Salem.

Ryburn led the way for the Lakers with three goals while
Michaela Hershey and
Sara Marin had two goals and one assist each. Nye and Byrnes also added two goals each while single goals were scored by
Sarah Hershey and Mizrahi.
Mason Feldstein,
Isabella Morris, Mizrahi and O'Keefe had one assist each.
