ERIE, Pa – The Mercyhurst women's water polo fell 11-10 to Gannon on Saturday and the Cathedral Prep Event Center.
 
Lindsey Mizhari scored two goals and had two assists while Mackenzie Ryburn and Sarah Hershey each had two goals and one assist. Maddie Nye also scored two goals while Rachel Morris and Rachel Byrnes had one goal each. Michaela Hershey had three assists while Sarah O'Keefe had one assist.
 
Michaela Hershey, Sara Marin, Sarah Hershey, Byrnes and Mizrahi had one steal each. 
 
In net, Sarah O'Keefe made 12 saves for the Lakers.
 
For Gannon, Nicole Vieira scored four goals, Campbell Ruh had three goals and Sydney Foutain and Kelly Fehr had two goals each.
 
In net, Isabella Vieira made 11 saves.
 
The Lakers are back in action on April 26-28 when they travel to Geneva, Ohio for the WWPA Championships.
