ERIE, Pa. -- Athina Tsagkaraki won five consecutive matches over the weekend to win the B-Singles bracket as the Mercyhurst women's tennis team competed in the ITA Atlantic Region Singles/Doubles Championships on Saturday and Sunday.

While Tsagkaraki went 5-0 at the regional, teammate Naomi Jahr was 3-1 in the B-Doubles bracket. Emily Gordon and Sangeeta Roopan went 1-1 each in A-Singles play.

In A-Doubles play, Kayla Frost and Ivona Plecevic had a 1-1 record while, in B-Doubles play, Roopan and Hannah Wenzel went 2-1 before falling in the semifinals.
