ERIE, Pa. – Mercyhurst women's ice hockey head coach Michael Sisti was inducted into the Metro Erie Chapter of the Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame on June 20 at the Shrine Club. He was one of ten inductees for the 2018 class.
 
Sisti has been the head coach of the Mercyhurst women's hockey program for all 19 seasons, compiling 462 wins in 671 career games, good for the second most all time in Division I women's hockey.
 
Sisti led the Lakers to their 12^th NCAA Tournament appearance and 14^th conference title in program history this season past season. He was named one of seven finalists for the NCAA Coach of the Year award, an award he won back in 2005. He was also named USCHO.com Coach of the Year in 2007.
