REUNION, Fla. -- Chris Kupniewski shot an even-par 70 and is tied for 17th after Monday's day-one action at the three-round NCAA Championships, which are being hosted by Florida Southern on the Reunion Resort Watson Course.

Kupniewski shot par scores on 16 of 18 holes. He had one birdie, which occurred on the 394-yard, par-4 13th hole.

John Coultas of Florida Southern leads the individual field with a five-under 65. He is followed closely by John Clare of Le Moyne (66).

The tournament will continue Tuesday and Wednesday.
