WASHINGTON, Pa. and SALEM, W. Va.- The Mercyhurst men's water polo team won at Salem International, 14-7, on Saturday night. The Lakers fell, 15-9, at Washington and Jefferson earlier in the day.

The Lakers took a commanding 6-1 lead at Salem and never looked back.
Gavin Oakley led with a goal and five assists.
Shaquille Mitchell posted a hat trick, while
Samuel Lopez,
Dave Matulis,
Joe Yamamoto, and
Jordan Hodur each scored twice.
Kevin Doyle tallied nine saves in goal.

Against W&J, the Lakers were tied, 3-all, at the half, but the Presidents pulled away in the second half.
Joey Ryan, Yamamoto, Mitchell and Strong each had two goals.
Jack Howe added one score. Â

Andrew Too-A-Foo registered three stops.
