ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst men's water polo team won, 19-8, at Penn State Behrend Friday night.
Alex Strong scored five goals as the Lakers scored a season-high 19 goals, counting their games against NCAA foes.

Mercyhurst jumped out to a 5-1 advantage after a period, and held an 8-5 lead at halftime. The Lakers pulled away with six third-quarter goals and then tacked on five more scores in the final frame.

Strong finished with five goals, while
Jordan Hodur,
Shaquille Mitchell, and
Dave Matulis each recorded hat tricks.
Joe Yamamoto added a pair of goals.
Andrew Too-A-Foo made seven saves in net, while
Gene Bilbao tallied two stops and two assists.

The Lakers extended their winning streak over Behrend to 22 games. They also improved to 4-6 this year. They play at Washington and Jefferson tomorrow at noon before heading to Salem International for an 8:30 contest.
