MEADVILLE, Pa. - Mercyhurst men's golf has seven players competing as individualists at the Guy Kuhn Invitational. Zach Miller has the only top 20 finish after day on the team finishing in 12th after shooting a 77, five over par.
Jon Bayer was the second highest finisher on the day finishing tied for 33 shooting an 81. Dustin French and Ryan Kaufman are both tied for 46th after shooting 83. T.J. Mitchell and Chris Hoecker both shot first round scores of 85 to place them tied for 56th. Dave Rinderle is tied for 64th with a score of 89.
The leading score is 70 shot by Jake Reed (St. Vincent) and Jack Whelan (St. Lawrence) who are both tied for first.
The event is being hosted by Allegheny College and is being played at Meadville Country Club.
