ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's lacrosse team hits the road for a pair of games this weekend. The Lakers play at Tiffin on Saturday, March 15, at noon and then head to Findlay for another noon match on Sunday, March 16.
Mercyhurst is 1-1 in 2014. It beat Roberts Wesleyan, 19-1, before falling at #5 Le Moyne, 15-11.
Jenna Schlagenhauf leads the Lakers with nine goals, while
Becca Himes has five goals and five assists.
Tiffin has an 0-4 record this year. It has been beaten by Lock Haven, Shepherd, Florida Southern, and Stonehill. Emily Roussel has scored 13 goals in four contests.
Findlay is also 0-4 this season. The Oilers fell, 19-18, to Shepherd on Tuesday. Sarah Lankton has scored 13 goals, while Kyra Bradley has 12 in four outings.
Mercyhurst is 4-0 against Tiffin in program history, including a 14-5 win at Tullio Field last season. The Lakers beat Findlay, 26-5, in the first meeting between the programs in 2013.
