GROVE CITY, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's water polo team lost twice Saturday afternoon, falling at Grove City College, 9-4, and 14-7 to Bucknell. Hope Rozelle made a combined 26 saves in the matches.

Against Grove City, the Lakers fell behind 3-0 after one quarter and then scored four fourth-period goals to put away the home win. Lisett Calderon scored twice, while Allie Grimes had a goal, two assists, and six drawn ejections.

In the Bucknell contest, the teams were tied at 2 after the first. The Bison scored four times in the second frame to take control and then outscored Hurst, 8-4, in the second half. Calderon had two goals and a helper. Kimberly Goodhart scored twice and Monique Pentecost had a goal and an assist. Laura Perez contributed a goal and an assist as well.

The Lakers (5-12) play Utica and Chatham tomorrow at Penn State Behrend.
