ERIE, Pa.- The Mercyhurst women's water polo team travels to Ann Arbor, Michigan, this weekend for five matches at the Wolverine Invite. The Lakers face Concordia (Calif.), Salem International, and Gannon on Saturday, March 17, and then take on California Lutheran and Michigan on Sunday, March 18.


 
Hurst is 3-7 in 2012. Lisett Calderon leads the Lakers with 27 goals this season. Allie Grimes is next with 11 goals and Laura Perez has nine.
 
Concordia enters the weekend with a 12-7 mark, including a 5-1 record in its last six contests. Salem International sports an 0-7 record. Gannon is 5-12 overall, having lost its last four outings. California Lutheran has a 9-5 record, featuring wins in its last five matches. The host, Michigan, is 9-9 in 2012.
 
Last season, Coach Curtis Robinette's squad went a combined 4-2 against this weekend's opponents, including a perfect 4-0 mark against Gannon and California Lutheran.
