PRINCETON, N.J.- The Mercyhurst women's water polo team lost, 9-3, to Bucknell Sunday afternoon. The Lakers finished the weekend 1-2 at the Princeton Invitational.

Bucknell went ahead 8-0 at halftime before Hurst won the second half 3-2. Lisett Calderon led with two goals and four drawn ejections. Allie Grimes scored the other goal, while Hope Rozelle recorded nine saves and a steal in net. The Lakers went 1-11 on power play opportunities in the defeat.

Mercyhurst next travels to California for the Chapman Invitational February 25-26. Hurst will play four matches in two days in Orange, California.
