Elizabeth Tice and junior
Ally Keirn combined for 15 points in the sixth-ranked Mercyhurst College women's lacrosse team's 22-6 victory over Tiffin Sunday afternoon at Tullio Field.
Tice scored six goals for six points while Keirn netted three along with six assists for nine points, leading the Lakers to their largest point total since accumulating 35 in a 19-3 win over Slippery Rock Mar. 18, 2009.

Kelly Palmer found the back of the net four times and totaled five points, and senior
Kimberly Masterton scored twice and helped out on two others.

Jessica Lincoln added a hat trick, senior
Ashley Dulaney scored once and picked up three points and freshman
Cara DuMont tacked on two goals.
In what looked like a close game in the opening minutes, Mercyhurst turned aside Tiffin by outscoring them 17-2 after holding a slim 3-2 advantage through the first 10 minutes. Both teams then traded two goals aside to end the game in the final 10.
Two goalkeepers played for the Lakers. Sophomore Jenny Perkin earned her first collegiate win with three saves and four goals allowed through 47:01. Freshman
Brittany Waldecker closed out the game with two stops.
Mercyhurst held the upper hand in every statistical category, including shots (37-17) and ground balls (27-16). They also led 17-12 in draw controls and converted two of seven on free-position attempts.
Mercyhurst hits the road against next week with a pair of neutral-site games against Queens (N.C.) and St. Andrews in Annapolis, Md.
