Summary

Biography

2019 Season:
Appeared in all 11 games, racking up 986 yards on 212 carries posting a 4.7 yards per carry, while adding 16 touchdowns.  He was also a threat in the passing game hauling in 31 receptions for 342 yards and a pair of scores.  Owens closed out the year on a tear posting three straight games of over 100 yards on the ground against Gannon (104), Clarion (192) and Millersville (182).  He had six games with multiple rushing touchdowns.  Owens also helped out on kickoff return picking up 146 yards on five attempts.  

2018 Season:
Appeared in nine games, totaling 995 yards on 153 carries averaging 6.5 yards per carry and racked up seven touchdowns. He also had 23 receptions for 220 and two touchdowns. On special teams Owens posted five kick returns for 138 yards. His biggest game of the year came against rival Gannon (10/27) where he ran 21 times for a season-high 268 yards and three touchdowns.

2017 Season:
Saw action in 10 games and ended the season with 121.40 pass efficiency... Received a total of 165 yards and rushed 762 yards... Owens leads the team in rushed yards and second in all purpose with 927... He rushed 204 yards in the season closer against Lock Haven, making him the second player for Mercyhurst to reach the 200 mark this season... During this game he also recorded his season best, as well as a touchdown... Owens ended the season with 8 touchdowns. 

2016 Season:
Sat out his redshirt season.
