Biography

2019 Season:
Appeared in nine games, making 37 tackles (19 solo), three interceptions, three pass breakups and one sack.  At home versus Shepherd on September 14th he recorded double-digit tackles posting 11, thanks to nine solo.  His picks came against California Pa. (10/26) and Clarion (11/9) when he grabbed a pair.  Merritt also added a seven-yard kick return at Edinboro on October 12th.    

2018 Season:
Appeared in all 11 games, making nine tackles which included seven solo.

2017 Season:
Saw action in five games this season... Tallied 3 tackles, all of which were solo and all against Lock Haven.

2016 Season:
Sat out his redshirt season.
