2009: Started 54 contests in the outfield for the Lakers…had one error in 76 chances while posting three assists, one of which cut down a runner at the plate against California on April 25 when the Lakers swept the Vulcans in a doubleheader to win the PSAC West title… steady bat in the lineup… owned a .323 batting average, finishing third on the team in hits (61)… also finished third in RBI (46), registering the second-most multiple-RBI contests (15)… had an RBI in seven of 10 Laker games from April 18 through May 7…fourth on the team in total bases (80)… stole 7-of-10 bases…eight-game hitting streak from April 17 through April 25...quiet leader in the lineup with great dependability… earned All-PSAC Second Team honors for his efforts.
2008: Pressed into early action because of injuries...Moved to the outfield after beginning the season as second baseman...Appeared in 42 games and made 28 starts...Made 25 starts in left field and three starts at second base...Finished fifth on the team in hitting with a .312 batting average, going 24-for-77...Recorded two doubles and drove in 10 runs...Walked 15 times while striking out just 14 times...On base percentage of .421 ranked fourth on the team...Swiped three bases in five attempts...Batted .412 against left-handed pitching and .296 with runners in scoring position...Made first start against Bryant on March 1, going 1-for-4...Recorded two hits on five occasions...Went 2-for3 with a double and two runs scored against Tiffin on April 19...Drove in game-winning run with a walk-off single in 5-4 win over Tiffin on April 20...Recorded at least one hit in seven of the last nine games of the season.
High School: Batted .375 in 2007 and .400 in 2006 with 26 RBIs and 18 stolen bases...Named All-WPIAL Class AAA Section 1 and played in the WPIAL All-Star Game as a senior...Was also a Beaver County Times Top 20 player...Set record for doubles in a season with 15...Led team to WPIAL Championship in 2007.
