Mercyhurst University Athletics

2011: Split time as the reserve catcher after coming back from an injury that caused him to miss most of the 2010 season… played in 14 games and started three contests… hit .300 on the year, collecting six hits in 20 trips to the plate while driving in eight runs and scoring three… best performance at the plate came against Univ. of the Sciences on March 5 when he went 2-for-3 with three RBI… also had a 2-RBI performance against Hillsdale (March 1) and Notre Dame College (April 12)… had no errors in 30 chances and picked off 1-in-3 base runners.

2010:  Appeared in one game against Florida Memorial on Feb. 21… battled wrist injury for entire season.

Prior to Mercyhurst:   Played one year of Junior College baseball at Mercyhurst North East.

High School:  Lettered in football, basketball and baseball at Riverside High School...All-State selection in football during senior year... also during senior year he set high school record for home runs, leading the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Conference in the process.

Personal:  Born Dec. 10, 1989.. sports management major... son of Mark and Lorri Baldelli... siblings include brother Bret and sister Kylee... Bret played football collegiately at Saginaw Valley State.
