Mercyhurst University Athletics

2011: Started 11 games for Mercyhurst en route to a 4-2 record… allowed 30 runs, 15 earned, in 59 1/3 innings for a 2.28 ERA… gave up 51 hits while striking out 81 and walking 20…came on strong in the final weeks of the season to help the Lakers clinch the PSAC West regular-season title, the division’s No. 1 seed in the postseason tournament and the program’s first PSAC Championship… earned his first complete game victory in a must-win situation at Slippery Rock in the final game of a four-game series… threw seven innings against The Rock, allowing one earned run on four hits while striking out six and walking three… followed that with a masterful nine-inning no decision effort in an eventual 4-2 (12 inn.) win over Millersville in the PSAC tournament… there he allowed two early earned runs on five hits before silencing the Marauder bats, striking out a personal-best 13 hitters… also posted a double-digit strikeout effort with 11 in his second appearance and first start of the season against SUNY Canton on Feb. 26… had nine games with six or more strikeouts, including no less than six in his last five starts… had three appearances where he did not issue a walk.

High School: Was a three sport athlete in high school.  Played baseball, football, and basketball.  Won the sectional championship in 2008.
