Erie, PA – Mercyhurst University is proud to announce the Mercyhurst CORE Games event, taking place Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Mercyhurst Athletic Fields. The event will bring together lacrosse teams from around the region for a day of competition, aiming to benefit Organ Donation.
 
This event will feature seven NCAA men's lacrosse teams and three NCAA women's lacrosse teams, including Mercyhurst, Seton Hill, D'Youville, and others. Games will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day. The women's teams will participate in a round robin tournament beginning at 10 a.m.
 
All proceeds from the CORE games will benefit CORE (Center for Organ Recovery & Education), an organization that works with hospitals to coordinate organ recovery and transplantation.
 
In addition to the lacrosse competition, the event will provide opportunities for attendees to learn more about organ donation and its impact. Information and resources will be available for those interested in learning more about becoming an organ donor.
