The Mercyhurst men's soccer team plays their sixth and seventh consecutive matches away from home this week. They travel to Pitt Monday, Sept. 22 to take on the Panthers. Then, they kick off conference play at LIU on Sunday, Sept. 28.

Previous Outings
Mercyhurst is 0-4-2 on the season. They displayed some defensive resilience early in the season, as they only conceded two goals and recorded two shutouts. This past Wednesday, Sept. 17, the Lakers went up 1-0 at Canisius. The Golden Griffins then scored three unanswered, giving the team some things to think about as conference play approaches.

Lakers to Look Out for
Marcel Duffau has the Laker's lone goal this season. Duffau has taken several set pieces this, and it was only a matter of time before he found the back of the net. The Chilean native has started in every game so far, one of three players to do so.

Defensively, senior captain Mario Ganser has led the backline. Ganser is the only Laker to play all 540 minutes and has executed several crucial blocks and clearances in his position.
