North East, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Men's Golf team hosted the New York/Pennsylvania DI Quad Match at Lake View County Club in North East, Pennsylvania.     

Overview 

The field consisted of two Pennsylvania teams (Mercyhurst and Saint Francis) and two New York teams (Niagara and Canisius).  Saint Francis walked away with the win, finished with a team score of 293 (+5).  The Lakers A team came in second with a team score of 295 (+7).  Canisius came in third with a team score of 299 (+11).  Rounding out the leaderboard was Niagara in fourth with a team score of 302 (+14) and the Lakers B team coming in fifth with a team score of 330 (+42).   

Team Highlights 

Robert Kozlowski, Evan Rowane, and Matthew Spadacini all shot 73 (+1) and finished T3.  Kozlowski started red hot, carding a birdie on the first three holes.  Rowane shot 34 (-2) on the back nine.  He posted two birdies and seven pars.  Spadacini shot an even par 36 on the front nine and a 37 (+1) on the back nine. 

Darien Swanson and Peter Malo Jr. Both finished T11 after shooting 76 (+4).  Garrett Senfield was just one stroke behind, shooting 77 (+5)
