Erie, Pa.- After a successful weekend at home, the Mercyhurst Women's Water Polo team is ready to get back on the road. They'll make their way to Cambridge, Ma. for the Harvard Invitational where they'll take on Brown, Harvard, Siena and California Baptist.
Back in the Water:
Mercyhurst will look to build off of their success from last weekend after they won three of their four games. Mercyhurst will look to lean on their Senior goalie
Marley Ramon, who had some stellar play last week. They'll also be aiming to make sure that they continue their offensive progress. Last week they saw contributions from all over. Goals came from
Allie Dombkowski,
Freya Green,
Bri Allstun and
Grace Brzyski among others.
They'll kick off the weekend against Brown, who is 8-7 and coming off of back-to-back wins over Saint Francis and Bucknell. They take on Harvard to end day one. Harvard is 10-1 and their lone loss came in their third game of the season to No. 12 Indiana. On the flip side, Siena is just 1-10. Their lone win came against Azusa Pacific in the first game of the season. They conclude the weekend against CBU, who is coming off a 3-1 weekend.
