TRANÅS, Sweden - Tara Bach was selected to compete for the Germany U18s for the second time this year. In August, she was one of two netminders selected to play in a four-nation tournament in France. Bach had two standout performances this past weekend in Sweden and was named the goaltender of the tournament. 

Bach began the tournament Friday, Dec. 12 against Finland. The Germans won 2-1 with Bach between the pipes. Game three was where Bach continued to show out. On Sunday, Dec. 14, Sweden defeated Germany 2-1. Despite the loss, Bach was named the goaltender of the game for a stellar performance. On the weekend, Bach faced 48 shots on goal, made 46 saves, and allowed just two goals. Her .958 save percentage led all netminders who competed, which led to her being tabbed as goaltender of the tournament.

For the Lakers, Bach has started in three games and played in four. She has only allowed three goals and adds 46 saves to her tally. Notably, she has two shutouts this season. She made 25 saves in the Laker's 4-0 win over New Hampshire. Bach also made 10 saves in the team's 4-0 win over Delaware.
