PRINCETON, N.J. -The Mercyhurst rowing teams traveled to New Jersey Sunday to compete in the Princeton Chase. The Lakers raced in seven different events throughout the day, these included the Heavy Men's 8+, the Lightweight 8+, the Women's 8+, the Men's 4-, the Men's 4+, the Men's 1x and the Women's 4+.

The first boat to compete was the Heavy Men's 8. The boat, who came in with a time of 14:04.982, was comprised of coxswain
Madie Taylor and rowers
Brayden Pinkham,
Isaac Feldmann,
Oliver Stover,
Benjamin Kennedy,
Liam Wise,
Cole Bardeschewski,
Anthony DePinto, and
Juan Pablo Gonzalez.

The second event was the Men's Lightweight 8+ where the Lakers came in with a time of 13:33.393. The boat, coxed by
Dylan McLean, included

James Garoh,
Ralph Kasow IV,
Ivan Katic,
Bogdan Protic,
Mateja Jelisavic,
Ilias Petalidis, and
Fintan Moore.

Next up was the Women's Open 8+ that raced at 10:00 a.m. Coxswain
Ava Duarte led the Laker crew that included
Thea Felsner,
Tabea Wieland,
Charlotte Paschke,
Katie Kontrick,
Maryclare Parker-Stark,
Nayila Harris,
Hilde Wadlington, and
Cecilia Linkel. They finished with a time of 16:34.652.

Shane Kelly,
Patrick DeAngelis, and
Levi Mathieson competed in the Men's 4-. They came in fourth place with a time of 16:18.322.

Two crews competed in the Men's 4+ at 12:35 p.m. Crew "A" was made up of McLean, Dojcinovic, Petalidis, Katic, and Protic. They finished 17
th out of 35 with a time of 15:43.960. Crew "B" was coxed by Taylor and made up of Garoh, Pinkham, Jelisavic, and Moore. They finished in 16:28.514.

Kasow IV raced in the Men's 1x for the second weekend in a row, coming in second with a time of 17:55.929.

The last crew to compete was the Women's 4+. The crew, who finished in 20:32.323, included coxswain Duarte,
