Before that, the women will host Clarion on Wednesday, April 24th, with the team's senior day ceremony set to take place prior to the match before going to California, Pa. to see the Vulcans at noon on the 27th.

A Look Back

They then made the trip to Bloomsburg to see the Huskies, winning 5-2, thanks to a strong effort in singles play. The women competed in three matches, going 2-1. They started off the week with a loss at the hands of Slippery Rock on the 16th, 6-1, before rebounding during the weekend with sweeps against both the Golden Bears and Bloomsburg.

Davis' Big Week

He and Lukas Cabue Valverde played together as Mercyhurst's number two tandem on Saturday, April 20th, in their first match of the week with the duo coming away with a 6-2. He the continued his strong day with him coming way with a victory in singles in straight sets. The Rochester, N.Y. native dominated in his first set, 6-1, before using the momentum to help him to a 6-3 win in the second.

Davis and Cabue Valverde got back on the courts on Sunday for the finale of their weekend road trip against Bloomsburg in the team's 5-2 with the duo grabbing a 6-4 victory at the number two spot. Davis then had his best performance of the week and one of the better ones of his season in singles play as the number three with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 win to help his team claim another win.

Scouting Clarion

Their lone win on the year came back in the fall when they competed against Shippensburg, coming away with a close 4-3 win in the middle of September.

Scouting the Vulcans

California holds a record of 9-10 as of now with contests with both Edinboro and Slippery Rock on the docket before seeing the Lakers in their regular season finale, seeing the Fighting Scots on the 23rd and SRU the following day.
