The Lakers faced a challenging start, with Mercy taking a commanding 7-0 lead in the first quarter. However, Mercyhurst demonstrated resilience, battling back in the next three quarters and reducing the deficit to just two goals by the final whistle. The game was a high-intensity affair, with both teams aggressively pursuing the win.

• Jeremi Phoenix-Lefebvre led the scoring for Mercyhurst with three goals and two assists, continuing his impressive form this season.
