Jackson Springs, NC. - The Mercyhurst Men's and Women's Golf teams finished up the Laker Spring Shootout early Saturday Morning.
The Men's A team finished in fourth place at 21 over par. After shooting a team score of 308 on day one, the Lakers bounced back with a team score of 289 on day two. Evan Rowane finished in sole possession of fourth place. Rowane shot a four over par 76 on day one but followed it up with an impressive six under par 66 on day two. That was the lowest round by anyone in the entire tournament. Matthew Spadacini shot a four over par 76 on day one and a two over par 74 on day two, placing him in 21st place. Mac Deitrick shot an even par 72 on day two after a seven over par 79 on day one. Deitrick finished T-22.
The Women's team finished in third place at +106. Alyssa Ballaro was the high finisher for the Lakers, finishing T-10 with an 80 on day one and an 85 on day two. Sofia Carrizosa finished in sole possession of 13 place. Carrizosa shot 85 on back-to-back days. Kymberly Henry finished in sole possession of 14 place. Henry shot an 83 on day one and followed it up with an 88 on day two.
