The Lakers have seen La Salle once already this season as thy started off the new campaign against one another the Mercyhurst not able to get the win in the 18-9 final. Defense has been a strong suit for the Explorers up to this points with the team allowing just 41 goals through their first five games for an average of eight per game. They have allowed 10 or more only once as they gave up 10 against Pomona Pitzer to start February in a 10-7 loss.

Scouting the Seahawks

Wagner has gotten off to a fast start this year, going 6-2 to this point. The team has been on a tear of late as they have won each of their last four contests and have managed to outscore their opponents 55-36 over that span. Offense has been the main reason for such a strong start as they fave scored double-digit goals in all but one game to this point including a season-high of 22 against Salem on January 20th in their season opener.

Scouting Bucknell

The Bison are 1-3 to this point in the season, hoping to climb over .500 in the upcoming weekend. After falling in each of their first three games of the season, the team managed to grab win over Siena on Sunday, February 4th, in a 13-9 final. The Bisons will host the weekend event with the team set to play both Wagner and Saint Francis on the 10th before their bout with the Lakers the following day. Bucknell has already seen the Seahawks once this year with Wagner getting the better of that matchup by a score of 18-8, but look to turn the tide and get a revenge win to open their weekend.

Scouting Mount St. Mary's

The Mount has started the new year strong as they hold a record of 6-1 to this point in the season, winning each of their last four games. Two of the teams wins have come against the Lakers as they defeated Mercyhurst 14-7 in their season opener on January 27th before an 11-8 score in their most recent game on February 4th. Mount St. Mary's is no stranger to close contests with all of their matches being decided by double figures with an average margin of 4.4 goals per game, making them a team that feels comfortable in tight matchups.

Next Game

After spending their first few weekends of action on the road, Mercyhurst is set to come home and play within their friendly confines for the first time this season on the 17th and 18th of February. The team hosts LIU on the 17th before a matchup with Penn State Behrend to close out day one.
