How it Happened
Against the Saints, Mercyhurst fell behind in the erly going with the score standing at 4-2 to at one point in the opening half of play. Siena kept their foot on the gas going into the halftime break as they held a 7-3. The Laker's counterpart continued to control the contest whenever play resumed in the third period with three goals to their line compared to just one for Mercyhurst, helping them to a 10-4 lead going into the final frame. While coach MacDougall's team was able to outscore their opponent in the final frame it was not quite enough in the five-goal loss.
It was more of the same for the Lakers in their second game of the day as they ended up falling behind in the early going and could never quite catch up. The Crimson had a total of 12 players find the back of the net in one of their better offensive performances on the season, helping them take care of their counterpart in the finale of day one of the weekend.
Next Game

They follow that up with another team they have already seen in Wagner who previously earned a 15-3 win over the Lakers, hoping for revenge in their 12:00 p.m. contest.
