Erie, Pa. - The Mercyhurst Men's Golf team participated in a pair of events on Monday and Tuesday.  The Mercyhurst A team participated in the Red Flash Invitational at Sunnehanna Country Club and the B team participated in the Howard "Bud" Elwell Invitational at Whispering Woods Country Club. 

For the A team, Matthew Spadacini and Evan Rowane both finished T14.  Spadacini posted rounds of 72 and 75 over the two-day tournament.  In Spadacini's round of 72, he shot +1 36 on both the front and back nine.  Rowane posted rounds of 69 (one under par) and 78.  In Rowane's round of 69 he shot an even par 35 on the front nine and a –1 34 on the back nine.  Darien Swanson finished T33 after posting rounds of 74 and 80.  Aidan Fong finished T38 after posting rounds of 77 and 79.  Peter Malo Jr. finished T39 after posting rounds of 76 and 81.  As a team the Lakers posted a +43 team score which placed them in eighth place out of nine teams. 

For the B team, Garrett Senfield finished T25 after posting rounds of 80 and 78.  RJ Delisanti finished in 32nd place by himself after posting rounds of 85 and 76.  John White finished T37 after rounds of 81 and 83.  As a team the Lakers posted a team score of +78 which placed them in eighth place out of eight teams.
