Erie, Pa.- The Mercyhurst Men's Water Polo is set to return to Erie for the final time this season this weekend. The Lakers are currently 3-1 at home, and haven't won a game since they were last home.

Continuing to Build:
Mercyhurst was unable to grab their first win against a conference opponent this past weekend in Providence, RI., but the Lakers are looking to clean things up as they return to Erie for the last time in 2024. They'll look to lean on Freshman
Petar Vujovic, Sophomore
Asher Jones and Junior
Owen Hardner. The trio has had an impressive year as they've adapted to Division I play. The Lakers will be hoping to get the same production they've seen all season from them as they battle Gannon, Salem, Penn State Behrend and McKendree. Gannon is currently 9-3 with big wins over Mount St. Mary's and LIU. Salem, who the Lakers lost to 17-6 earlier in the year, holds a 12-3 record. Penn State Behrend fell to Mercyhurst this year, is currently 5-8. Mercyhurst will finish the weekend out against McKendree who has yet to get a win in 2024.
