Erie, Pa.- A week after going winless in four matchups on the road, the Mercyhurst Men's Water Polo team is getting ready to return to action. The Lakers will travel to Providence, RI for games against Navy, Wagner, LIU and Brown.

Battling on the Road
The Lakers finished last weekend 0-4 but saw some promising performances from a multitude of players. Mercyhurst was led offensively by Sophomore
Asher Jones, Junior
Owen Hardner,
Freshman
Alessio Sampedro and Freshman
Petar Vujovic. The Lakers will be leaning on them to produce as they continue to search for their first conference victory at the Division I level.

This weekend, Mercyhurst starts off facing Navy who went 2-2 their last time out. One of their two wins was against the Lakers, who they defeated 18-7. The Lakers will be looking for some retribution this weekend. Later in the afternoon, Mercyhurst will battle Wagner in what is their first of two matchups this season. Wagner is currently 8-12, but they picked up a statement win over Navy earlier this season. They'll be looking to replicate that success against the Lakers.

Mercyhurst wraps the weekend up with matches against LIU and Brown. LIU is currently 6-10 but has won just one of their last five games. The Lakers finish things up with a game against No. 19 Brown, who are winners in four of their last six games.
