Lock Haven, Pa. - Mercyhurst women's golf claims three all-conference spots to round out the year, the second most of any team in the conference, announced the PSAC, as Alyssa Ballaro, Kymberly Henry, and Isabella Walter each found their way on the Second Team.
Ballaro claims the first All-PSAC award of her career in her second season as a Laker. The native of Buffalo N.Y. played in all 12 tournaments this season with an average score of 83.4, tied for the second-best mark on the team. She started off her campaign very strong for Mercyhurst as she had her best 36-hole effort in the Charleston Invitational on September 12th and 13th with a score of 158. She started off well with a score of 81 on day one and finished even better, shooting 77.
Kymberly Henry finishes out her senior season a Laker as a Second Team member after a very solid season, giving her a third All-PSAC selection for her career. She played in all 12 tournaments during the season and finished tied with Ballaroin per round average at 83.4. Henry also saw her best round at the beginning in the Charleston Invitational, shooting a 118 with rounds of 76 and 75. She had another stellar outing in the Klash in Kentucky to round out the month of March as Henry finished with a score of 161 to earn the title of PSAC Athlete of the Week.
After earning Second Team honors in 2021 and being named to the First Team last year, Isabella Walter makes her way onto the All-PSAC Second Team this time around. The junior has her third straight campaign in which she has averaged 82 per round, shooting 82.1 for the best mark on the team. Walter started off the season the way she wanted, shooting 159 across 36 holes in the Charleston Invitational in the middle of September with a score of 79 on day one and following up with a round of 80.
