LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Mercyhurst women's golf team opened the 2025 fall season at the Bucknell Invitational this weekend. The Lakers finished 14
th out of 19 teams (334-323-327/984), while freshman
Lauren Iannetta was the team's low finisher.Â

Iannetta carded the low round of the weekend for the Lakers on Saturday, shooting a 74 at the par 70 Bucknell Golf Course in Lewsiburg, Pennsylvania. The freshman was 2-over going out with a birdie on the par-4 eighth hole and came in 2-over with another birdie on the par-3 16
th.

The Eastlake, Ohio native shot 81 in the first and third round to finish with a 239 total and a tie for 48
th.

Emily Ferguson finished tied for 59
th, recording scored of 80-83-80 for a total of 243. Ferguson carded a team-high four birdies on the weekend.

Freshman
Danielle Walker also made her debut in Green and Blue. She finished with scores of 86-85-82/253.

Molly McGreal finished three shots behind Walker shooting 87-88-82/256 in the first event of her sophomore season.

Avery Paez rounded out the lineup as the third rookie representing the Lakers. Paez finished with rounds of 90-81-90/261.

The Lakers are back in action Sept. 21 at the Roseann Schwarts Invitational hosted by Youngstown State.
